Background

I hold a BSc in Plant Biology from the University of Ilorin and a First-Class Honours BSc in Adult Nursing from the University of Bradford.

I have participated in NIHR internships with the University of Leeds, where I contributed to qualitative research exploring how clinicians and patients on the suspected Head and Neck Cancer pathway build rapport during consultations; and with the University of Liverpool, where I developed an infographic and video to support broader participation among Head and Neck Cancer PPIE members.

I also completed a data analysis internship with Centre Point, where I analyzed staff training attendance data to inform service improvements and co-created a course for people experiencing homelessness on how to register with GP and dental services, with a focus on improving access to primary care. I previously worked as a gynecological nurse before joining the Yorkshire Quality and Safety Research (YQSR) team as a research nurse.
