Emma graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Combined Honours BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Business Management in 2015. She then went on to study an MSc in Organisational Psychology at the University of Manchester and graduated in 2016.
Emma has always had a passion for helping the NHS and used both of her dissertations as opportunities to explore the different aspects of well-being in healthcare staff. She realised that she would love to research more within the NHS, so is now undertaking a PhD, funded by NIHR CLAHRC and the University of Leeds.
Emma’s aim is to develop an intervention which helps to promote a co-operative emotional climate during team interactions, which ultimately increases wellbeing of staff and improves patient safety.
