Patient and Public Involvement

The Yorkshire Quality and Safety Research (YQSR) group are excited about the launch of the new Patient Safety Research Centre (PSTRC) that is being hosted by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Leeds.

This centre aims to develop and put into practice new ways to improve patient safety.  There are four themes of work:

  • Patient involvement in patient safety
  • Workforce engagement for safety
  • Safe Use of Medicines
  • Digital innovations for patient safety

We will be actively involving patients and the public in creating, carrying out and sharing the results from our research projects and we have started to plan how we will do this.
