Abi graduated from the University of Manchester in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, and from the University of Leeds in 2014 with an MSc in Psychological Approaches to Health. She is currently studying for a PhD through a University of Leeds 110 Anniversary Research scholarship with the Bradford Institute for Health Research and the University of Leeds. Abi’s PhD explores the contribution that patients and their representatives can make towards the detection of patient deterioration in hospital, along with the acceptability and feasibility of involving patients and their representatives in the management of acutely ill patients.
Abi’s research interests include patient safety, patient-centred care, quality improvement and health behaviour change.
