Background

Weyinmi is a Research Fellow currently working on the NG-Sure project within the Bradford Institute for Health Research.

Weyinmi has been a qualified Paediatrician in Nigeria and Ukraine in the last 10 years. Weyinmi has experience working in the charity sector, community and hospital settings. Weyinmi has worked in areas such as public health nutrition, neglected tropical diseases, water, sanitation and hygiene, climate and biodiversity, acute and emergency paediatrics, community and school public health interventions.

Weyinmi has a postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Health and Wellbeing from the University of Salford (2015) and just completed her PhD in Rehabilitation and Health Sciences at Leeds Beckett University (2022). At LBU, Weyinmi worked as a research assistant on a Public Health England funded project focused on weight management support for minority ethnic groups in the UK.
