Jane O’Hara, Senior Research Fellow, Yorkshire Quality & Safety Research Group, has co-authored an invited paper for The Health Foundation, entitled ‘Identifying risks and monitoring safety: the role of patients and citizens’. The paper, which was published in October 2013, is a collaboration with Ruthe Isden, who is Public Services Programme Manager for the charity Age UK. The paper considers the role of patients and citizens in the identification of risk and the measurement and monitoring of safety, and can be accessed here:
